DIG: AN IMAGINED ARCHEO–LOGISM
"When I got the idea to build an excavation site, I had no idea how large it would become. Four years later, with over 600 skulls, more than 1,000 bones, 500 hearts, 35 sculptures, and 15 canopic jars, DIG opened with a life of its own. It demanded that I explore the propaganda of mythology. It insisted I bring others into the process. It asked questions, demanded answers. It challenged what I thought I knew about our human condition, our place in history, and made clear to me that this would be my life's work.
